We then bring you back to Glasgow Airport by 15:00 on the day following the finishing date of the seminar. For the 6-Day seminars this is always on a Wednesday.

An experiential and residential seminar in tranquil luxury in the Inner Hebrides. Achamore House is set within the 50 acres of the magnificent Achamore Gardens, on the small and beautiful Isle of Gigha. Participants will be introduced to all 60 of the LTOE, both in meditation and with photos, and some directly with the orchids in bloom.

At the core of the seminar are the 5 to 10 minute meditations we have with nearly each of the essences in the range. After each meditation there is the opportunity to share within the small group, which for each seminar is therefore limited to 10 (or occasionally 11) people. Don will also share information and gathered insights, and photos of the orchids, and we will also spend a bit of time in our new greenhouse, where over 300 orchids are growing. Connecting with each essence in meditation, and visually via Don's photos, as well as encountering the living orchids in the greenhouse all adds up to a wonderful and powerful experience.

With the 5-Day seminar we take half a day 'off' to see the island and its stunning beauty, including a short walk up the highest hill whence one has a magnificent view of the island and the sea surrounding us.

We have found that people attending wish to have a bit more time to see the island and Gardens, and so we are now offering the 6-Day seminars, which will allow either one full day off, or two half-days in the middle of the seminar. We watch the weather, and go out on the finest days. One option is for Don to take the group out in the 8.4m boat he skippers (with his other small business, Gigha Sea Tours) on a tour around the island, or even to go to the neighbouring island of Jura for lunch one day. There is a small extra cost for this, but it is an option which is entirely up to the seminar group members.

Orchids are unusual in the essence world in that they not only work on the in-the-body chakras, they also have activity in the chakras that exist above our physical bodies. In this way, they touch our soul at profound levels, and help us to encounter their sublime messages. The seminar provides the fullest possible introduction to their profound and extraordinary energies, and is highly recommended for anyone wishing to understand them more fully.

Don Dennis has been a Director of the International Flower Essence Repertoire since its founding in 1996. He has hosted dozens of workshops for numerous flower essence producers from around the world over the years, and he has learnt about the wide range of flower essences that IFER carry. Introduced to orchids at first by Andreas Korte of Germany, and then more fully by Shabd-sangeet Khalsa of Alaska, his (initially small) collection of orchids began early on to make essences with them. Thus began the process which led to the creation of some 50 individual orchid essences, and eleven combinations which currently constitute the LTOE line. A keen photographer, he has endeavoured to convey the exquisite beauty of the orchids through this medium as well.

Achamore House is the lovely old 'Big House' of Gigha, with 12 rooms to let. (When we don't have seminars the house is run as a B&B - see www.AchamoreHouse.com)

Cost of the 6-Day seminar: £285 inclusive of all costs apart from the evening meals, and a £20 charge per journey for collecting from Glasgow Airport (£40 for the round trip). The £285 cost assumes shared twin bedroom B&B accommodation in Achamore House, a single room / room on your own costs an extra £20 per night, or £140 extra altogether for the 7 nights of the stay.
